If he was American, the site wouldn't be able to stand up to the love he'd be getting.

2) He just ran 2;09 after going for much more.
3) He's raced 51 times in 2016 and 2017.
Amazing. Plus check this quote out. "Around mile five, mile six, one of the guys looked at me as if to say, ‘Who the hell are you?’ I looked at him, thinking, ‘I’m Dewi Griffiths’.*

Yes. I learned a lot in that article, particularly that his name is pronounced DOW-ee (rhymes with Howie) and that he works his arse off as a sheep farmer. It looks like he's not spending a lot of time in coffee shops in Flagstaff -- or anywhere else.
For those who said that his race was not as impressive as Allie Kieffer's 2:29 in NYC, think again. (And Allie ran an impressive race). As rojo points out, he ran a 2:09 after cramping up after he was on 2:08 pace (he ran away from two of Europe's best marathoners who could not hang with him -- although they almost caught him after he cramped up).
He just announced that he is getting some UK Athletics money.
Also, he has been interviewed by this website (
https://marathontalk.com/) and the podcast will be up late next week.
