Is Sarah Baxter no longer at Oregon? She is not listed on the XC roster anymore.

lol, was she ever actually there?
Injuries would be my guess.
Sarah Baxter never should have chosen to attend Oregon. She is the classic example of someone who needed to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond.
When Baxter chose to sign with Oregon, I told everyone that she was finished. Unfortunately, I was right!
lol...sarah who?
You guys are jerks. Sarah is still a huge aerobic talent and an elite athlete. It seems her body can't handle the stress of running right now.
She would do very well in cycling. Maybe XC skiing too. I hope she finds another endurance outlet. She doesn't need to be done.

yeah sure
Do you know if Sarah has given up on running for the time being. I used to watch her run when she was in Simi Valley. Great talent. Thanks.
Pics,you dogs, you.

Idk - seems like she was another one of those underweight high school runners who can't maintain that in college. The extra lbs slow them down or they try to stay too thin and are injured.
Hopefully, she gets a meaningful degree and if injured heals. If her body can't handle the stress of running then she should move on. She had a great HS career, good enough to pay for part of her education. That's a win for most. Running can be an unforgiving sport for many average and talented person.
MAGA
Don't worry. She'll reappear in about 10 years trying to qualify for the 2028 marathon trials.
bump. any actual info?

Double bump. Anyone? Wouldn't this be her final year of college?

She wasn't underweight in HS. By senior year, she was probably more muscular than most girls of her ability.

2014 was her redshirt year for XC and then she redshirted indoor and outdoor in 2015.
So she had to compete in XC in '15, '16, '17. That means if she has not left school, she has one more season of XC and 2 more seasons of indoor and outdoor. I am not from the West, so I was not that familiar with her, but she apparently only lost ONE XC race in four years with her HS. Not sure if they meant the NXN race she lost to Efraimson, but I could tell that this girl was a head case as when they interviewed her she acted like she was in shock and like someone had just killed her family in front of her.
Watching that, I said to nobody, "That girl looks and acts shell-shocked right now. She is never going to be OK again as she is going to get pounded like that A LOT in college." As usual, I am sorry I was right.
It would be great if she could come back, but 4:49 / 10:06 is not that amazing. There are a lot of girls with those kind of marks also folding like a coaches chair each year. It is too bad, but it is true.
I heard injuries were the main cause. She had to cut her senior year of HS short because of an injury and then I guess kept getting injured at Oregon. After awhile one probably says enough is enough.

Regardless if were right or wrong in your prediction, the fact you would make such dire proclamation about 17-18 yr olds to “everyone” says volumes about who you are as a person.
I sincerely hope you aren’t a coach and don’t influence kids or people who do influence kids.
Your need to be right obviously is more important to you than sensitivity to our youth.

Have you seen that video? I also thought she was done after that video. Her soul was crushed in that NXN race and it was clear she’d never be the same again. I don’t know her but I’m certain I could walk up to her today and say “your soul was crushed in that race” and she’d have no idea what I was talking about.
