This race was actually crazy! I was running about 30th in the race and I felt really good with 1k to go until I got to the messed up turn. It was weird most of Penn State and Princeton's guys had gone right but a few Delaware and Villa nova turned around and went the right way. I just followed the guys going left, Most of us weren't really down for a 9k. On the plus side my team technically won and Rutgers beat Princeton at least according to the unofficial results.

Didn't Andrew Sell join the varsity team? And they graduated Wilcko and Petrosky as far as I know. Unless I am incorrect those are 3 big losses.

Classic East coast teams thinking they are a factor at NIRCA even though they clearly are not. So many east coast teams on the list below:

Does anyone know what the distance between the top runners (mainly Kwan vs Oregon's top 5) at the Pacific Regionals was like? NIRCA's results for the Men's race only gives place, not times.
What are you talking about? The times are clearly listed on NIRCA's website. The winner ran 20:00 and every runner after that came in at evenly spaced intervals of 1/10th of a second.
I like how the Oregon and Davis teams both got beat by Cal Poly in the pacific regional race, yet Cal Poly won't even go to Nationals.
I thought Cal Poly was in Hershey last year...probably not their A squad

Can anybody explain what happened to the Penn State men's team at their regional qualifier? Their first 13 runners finished 76-88 with nobody faster and nobody in between.
The results aren't in order at all, given what happened at the race (read earlier posts in this thread if you aren't aware).
Thoughts after the second round of Regionals? It seems like ISU has to be the favorites. Oregon doesn't look as strong as last year, and I don't see any other teams with a legit chance at the team title.
Someone should post this to the NIRCA officer Facebook page. It's getting dusty in here.
