Yes she is right.
Yes she is right.
I hate it when my wife does this! If you want what I ordered, order it yourself. If you want both orders then order both things. Very simple. I order what I want and how much I want. If you can't finish it because you ordered too much awesome there is a meal for later.
Makes you wonder if they ever exchanged saliva

Yes! 1000 times YES!!! THIS is the crux of the problem as I see it.
Give her a creampie then eat it
I would not accept that from my wife. It's rude. If she asked, that's different.
My wife can take food off my plate all she wants. If you haven't figured this out yet, you should: if your wife is happy, you are happy.
Sometimes when you are eating at an expensive restaurant that serves small portions, your wife only needs to dig into your plate a couple of times before is almost nothing left.

THIS is an example of what I'm talking about! I'm not about to order another helping in that situation, but I've suggested to her I would and she'd get all pissy about it, like taking 25% of my tiny portion wasn't that much and wouldn't make me go hungry.
Only read the first page.
If she did this consistently to tease you, even knowing it makes you angry, I would make fun of you for posting this.
The fact that SHE got angry is actually worrisome. I think there are some underlying issues here; I seriously recommend counseling.
I would also like to hear her side of the story :-)
Just say no problem and shove some more of the food in her face, like Jimmy Cagney did to that broad.
My wife and I once, early in our dating, entertained a friend of hers. I complemented the meal and this friend reached across the table (small table) and tried to take something off my plate. I stabbed her hand with my fork. Hard. That pretty much set the tone at our table from then on. My wife respects my feelings about personal space and her friend does, too. I'll be glad to share, but please ask first.

That's a little over the top, don't you think?

Winner
Yeah, you're a weirdo.
This falls under the category of "don't sweat the small stuff." It's just not worth it.
Just wow... wrote:
We'll get served at a restaurant, for example, and before I take my first bite of food or she tries hers, she'll reach over the table with her fork and snag a hunk of food off my plate. No, "oh, that looks good, can I try that honey?". It irritates me, and she knows it and gets very angry at my for this, as if I'm the bad guy here. She says this is what people who are intimate with each other do, and it's a sign that I'm selfish and I lack in that capacity. Seriously???
It's definitely a woman thing, along with saying "perfect," 1087 times a day.
My wife's go to move is to refuse to order a dessert because she is too full and then proceed to eat half of mine (and sometimes more). I've started to order desserts I know she doesn't like to mitigate this.
Incredibly rude and uncourteous. I'm surprised how many support your wifes behaviour.
There's sharing, but ask, and preferably before you order.
Reading this thread, it struck me that a whole lot of you must not really like your wives very much. That or you were raised in weird ways. Why wouldn't you want to share food with the woman you love? I don't get it...
