Guys, Lickity is the same guy who constantly blasts UTEP for giving scholarships to Kenyans over tax paying citizens.
He does the same shit in any thread about their runners. Those of you trying to reason with him, save your breath.
He's just A Duck 2.0.
- Correct: I consistently criticize UTEP & WCAP practices.
- Incorrect: I'm unreasonable ... ready to debate any of the questions that Sarah "Softball" Barker failed to address in her propaganda peace on WCAP.
- Incorrect: I did not attend Oregon
- Can't wait to see MAVNI go the way of the Army & NASCAR:

- American athletes have a better shot at racing dopers than WCAPers.
- Go back to sleep!
At some point your identity is going to come out and then it will be clear why you're constantly grinding your axe with Kenyans in the US.
I would agree with this. I know of two very high profile people (in the running community/shoe world) that are trying to determine a legal way to do this.
- Why would the Running Community/Shoe World have to do anything illegal to address this WCAP issue?
- If a journalist would simply attempt to answer the WCAP questions posed then that is going to cause the Army to answer a number of uncomfortable questions ... similar to NASCAR.
- There's plenty more questions as well ....
* Why isn't WCAP recruiting female Kenyans to join the program?
* Why are WCAP athletes competing in non-championship events on taxpayer dollars such as the Diamond League?
As the article stated, did you not think it was bad-form that an Army LTC is negotiating with a Diamond League meet director on travel funding for one of their soldiers? What's next ... do Army LTC's then begin negotiating prize money? Where does it end? This is ripe for abuse on taxpayer dollars. I do give WCAP credit though .... they at least moved WCAP to a military base instead of near LTC Dan "the Scam" Browne's residence there in Oregon...saves money/avoids conflict-of-interest. Or is it now because Fort Carson happens to be near LTC May's hometown as stated in the article.

What/which "American post-collegiate system" has been threatened?
The various and sundry programs that post-collegiate athletes leverage to support their professional careers. These range from graduate assistance &/or selling running shoes to NOP. Common to all, is their fragile nature that's been totally disrupted by WCAPs taxpayer funded model.
- Correction ... LTC Sean Ryan of Colorado Springs not LTC May: my bust

You're reaching.
- Ask Ben True, Andy Bayer, Galen Rupp, .... just review the USATF National Championship results that qualified folks for the Olympic Trials.
- A fact, not a "reach"
What do you think about the Olympic boxers sponsored by the U.S. Army?
- Amateur boxing .... yes OK: they don't tour the world attending Diamond League-like events or high-paying Road Races (ex. Falmouth) and collect prize money. That's one of the reasons I was so thrilled to see Chelimo when he was disqualified for unsportmanslike conduct ... collected nothing! That was awesome.
- I also DO NOT have a problem w/revenue generating collegiate sports (football/basketball) providing scholarships to foreign athletes; however, I DO take exception to non-revenue producing/Olympic sports pushing their dollars to foreign athletes.
Barker need to write an article as to why this anonymous Lickety character is such a hysterical whiny little b*tch.
This guy wouldn't (and probably didn't) last one day in Basic Training.
What a non-sensical cry baby.
Hey I've it.
Wcap is here.
Black people are here.
You obviously suck at eneytjing you do so need to blame others.
- I don't accept your "It is what it is, deal with it!" perspective.
- Looking for WCAP accountability
- Given the critical languages MAVNI advertises, why the Swahili & long-distance focus? Plenty of languages/Olympic sports to exploit:
Thai/Chinese/Indonesian: could have a great badmitton team
Korean: WCAP Winter Olympics ... speed skating
Serbo-Croatian: Olympic Weightlifting
- Finally, back to Sarah's article ... "Did the US taxpayer fund the Secretary of the Army to attend the Rio games to watch WCAP athletes?"
Parker Stinson and Joe Stilin could have joined this team. Don't act like the standards are impossible for decent American post collegiate runners to hit. This program costs the country next to nothing in the grand scheme of things and could be funded for the next 100 years by forcing Donny Jr. and Eric to stay home for a month.

If YOU'RE going to be such a critic...

- "...in the grand scheme of things.." ? WCAP is a existential threat to the US post-collegiate system. Way more than doping ... that's why it matters!
- Homework assignment: compare the WCAP self-imposed Rift Valley standards to the US list & you'll be better prepared to debate.
I certainly wish is was DoD wide...
