If anyone thinks Farah won't run quicker than 2:08 they are insane.
What are you talking about? Everyone tells you he could probably manage a 2:7 on a very good day.

sit n kick all the way to heaven , baby ...OneMomile
With 26 of them, by the time he kicks, the winners will already be through with the medal ceremony.
You're an idiot. Have you seen him run a marathon? He doesn't look smooth at all. I doubt he will run another marathon. If he does, he won't ever medal in the Olympics or beat his current PR.
He's scheduled to be in London next year
Hopefully bekgoatele goes there and slaps him around
Go head u r free to dream and fantasize, reality will hit u like a run away freight train Lol
#OneMoMile
Quite like it hit you when Farah lost at the world championships? Or like during his first marathon, when the BBC commentators went from lowering their hopes from ER, to British record, to nothing at all during the race?
*lowered
Damn , i'm glad Mo Farah messed with ur head the last 7 yrs
I bet u telling urself b4 every Mo race this is the race he will go home devastated .. U gonna continue pop Prozac pills when u Mo continue his winning ways in the thon #OneMoMile baby lol
He will be good but i don't see him ever reaching that top tier among elites. I think he might have a 2:05:xx in him at best but i don't think we will see him on the startline at berlin or anything.

Ah, good. I feel your anger going up. I might not have managed to get your blood boiling tonight, but I'll stop here anyway. We'll have fun at his next marathon.

I'm curious how you came to this conclusion.
Did his 26:46/59:32 PRs lead you to believe he's not capable of improving on his lone marathon time?
I bet my life savings he's the 2020 Olympic Marathon Champion.

He doesn't stand a chance in the marathon. No slowmoingbsit and kicking there, with so many Kenyans and Ethiopians going sub 2:05,
He'll probably go like Rupp to those slow no pacing boring American 2:08-2:10 marathons
Mo will psych them all out, control the pace like he does on the track, and continue his winning ways. The times, in the 2:40 to 3 hour range, won't matter.

Seriously he could do better than this but he needs to sort out the wasted energy in his arm action. He can get away with this on the track but not over a marathon. Jake Robertson nearly had him because his style was more efficient. Kipsang is even more efficient again.

The OP and a couple others don't think he will?
Plus I will say the same about 2:07.
He ran 2:08 between two 3:28 1500ms.
If that doesn't show you he didn't concentrate on the marathon at that time (and can therefore go much faster) then I don't know what will.
He has had a couple of months dedicated to the preparation of his marathon. He upped his mileage a lot. He certainly did not improvise it.
Maybe most people need a couple of marathons before they reach their best, but even then, he started very low.
You never know, but I would be shocked if he became a factor in the best marathons.

A couple of months? Do you know anything about training?
