I literally only do static/dynamic drills during team practices and never outside of it and I've mostly gotten injured during the season. So am I getting injured because I am doing drills? Obviously not, there's plenty of other things that will cause you to get injured and I can't think of any of my injuries or anyone else on my team who have gotten injured because they didn't stretch.
I ran a half marathon that was just slightly slower than I expected after walking out of the port-a-potty and jogging to the start line and starting. Did I run slow because I didn't do drills before hand? No, it's because I ran a minute under pace for the first 5k.
There really is no reason for you to need to do it unless you legitimately think you've gotten injured and that training, stride, shoes, etc. aren't the reason for it, but lack of stretching is.
