First off, oh yawn. You're one of those who spew the dictionary but don't have a personality. I would lose interest in a heart beat if I met you in person, with that said, I believe anyone can be smart in their own mind and even smarter with life experiences. It's all about thinking higher than a text book and beyond. Hopefully you're done kissing yourself by the time you read this.
I was a 17 year old as a freshman and turned 18 during the second semester.
I dated a girl who was very smart that ended up graduating early. She was a grade ahead and coincidentally also a year young for her grade.
It's not that she was "smarter" but she was a lot further along academically than I was. She also helped me with my math homework a couple times but a couple times I already knew the answer. I was just asking to ask ;)
Unfortunately, I have never met someone smarter than me. This message board elevates me to a god like intellectual status.
Went to a great university but the diversity of the good looking females in the CS department were lacking. Liberal arts, nursing, biology, communications and business majors are where all the hotties were.
So I was sitting in an advanced level algorithms course one fall and there was a TA I hadnt seen before. Not your Ugg Boot, Fake Tan, Big Breasts and blonde hottie but your real chick like Donna from that 70s show hot. In her spare time she was a hockey referee. Hadnt seen her before but she was now pursuing her PhD after graduating from Washington with a Master's. Her resume had all the right names (NASA, Boston Scientific, etc.).
She was nerdy beautiful and a sight for sore eyes in the CS department. I was a 20 year old crushing hardcore on my TA. Turns out she was only 17 everything else holding true. I think that realization only made me like her more. Again, she was the TA.
She left after the second black eye , five minutes after the first .

No, I only date women.
Correct answer.
"How I'm able to do what I can do" - like what? You write like a 15 year-old.
I didn't date her, but was friends to a type a ER doctor. The exactness, thorough-ness and accuracy required to be a Dct often killed any humor before it started. Not intentional but was a little annoying.
Her joke or humor material was re-hashed stuff but required thoughtfulness on your part.
But she and other lady Dct's I know are all dumb on 2nd amendment issues and, hell, the Founding fathers studied the Romans and Greeks, they, the Farthers 250 years ago were smarter on 2nd Amendment issues.
Smarts, unlike Morality, are relative.
I know how to stitch a blind stitch and I do so often.
I've dressed out a Whitetail deer observing and holding in my hands the ribbed Tracheotomy.
I've dated dumb and smart, I think it boils down to humility and not being a jerk. Trying to enhance your S.O.
How is it that a thread, loaded with elitist humble brags and supposed intelligent posters, can be so full of spelling and grammatical errors? Almost every post fails the sniff test. This entire thread gets a 1/10 and all posters are now to be labeled as ordinary.
Morons.

I forgot to mention.

All "smart" Democrat women are insufferable.
They are grammar nazi's to make themselves feel better because they truly have low self-esteem.
Have you ever considered that you might be arrogantly insufferable and that is the reason your relationships fail? Because the message that yor post is sending.
I have dated on more than one occasion women smarter than myself. It never bothered me, in fact, that's one of the things I found rather appealing about them.
They would have valuable insights on different problems and often expose me to a certain knowledge base that I found enriching. I learned from them.
Truthfully almost all the woman I have dated have been smarter. I suppose with my measured IQ of 81 that is to be expected.

Why? Almost all the professors I know are extraordinarily smart, hard working, accomplished, true experts in their fields, and genuinely love their jobs. Seems to me they have a lot to brag about.
Put "arrogant" and "close-minded" in there, and you've got it. Don't worry, you've got "almost" so we won't get all pissy and upset about it.
I'm a letsrun poster. Therefore there is nobody smarter than me. Also, I'm a letsrun poster. Therefore I can't get a date with women.
I find the smartest people I know are the ones who realize there are limits to their knowledge and expertise. I've dated a couple of highly intelligent and accomplished people only to find them absolute boors since they believed their expertise in their particular field entitled them to pontificate upon a variety of subjects of which they know little, if anything. The smartest people are the ones who realize that there are many other smart people in the world and we all can learn from each other. I married a very smart (PhD) but humble person who is a delightful conversationalist. She makes you feel like you are the most interesting person she's ever met no matter what your background.
I'm sure my wife has a higher IQ than I do and I know she feels like she's smarter than me. She tends to be a know-it-all and not very social. Does that make her smarter? Maybe but I'm happier.
Yes

There are dumb people who believe that their expertise allows them to pontificate on numerous topics also. It has nothing to do with IQ.
I am sure I have dated people that are marginally more intelligent (The difference between 135 and 140 is in the realm of measurement error). Finding that 1/10k person that is noticeably smarter (and I have meet them so know they exist) and dateable (i.e. right age and somewhat attractive) hasn't happened yet. Not sure how it would work out.
I have to imagine it is like dating noticeably dumber. You can go down a bit (say 120 or so) and be ok but after a certain point it is just annoying.

Yup.
That's what low class folk do.
