Have you not seen pictures of her in high school versus college? She definitely put weight on while at Harvard and it's a good thing she did.
Not talking about her specifically, but the accounts of the runners who quit. A lot of Harvard girls said that PWD forced them to lose "unhealthy" amounts of weight. But since Prender supported PWD, there must have been exceptions to that.
Never understood coaches forcing athletes to lose weight. If you are running 60 miles per week and weigh 140lb, that means you are MEANT to weigh 140lb. You drop the weight, you also drop the strength.
Serious question - 1) Does Pendergast have to sit out a year?
2) How much scholarship is she getting?
3) Did Oregon athletic dept. find her academic scholarship?
