So many entertaining races, full of excitement from a racing standpoint AND storyline standpoint.
My Likes:
- Men's 1500, Kenyans break away with a surge 1000m from the finish and should have pulled off a sweep had Asbel not shrunk.
- Women's 1500, Muir takes it out but Kipyegon prevails beautiful execution of what championship running looks like. followed by a late jenny surge
- Women's 5K, Invincable Ayana is broken.
- Men's 5K, Mo Farah is beaten by Edris who got by with a little help from his friends. Something about the Ethiopians always being the ones to beat Farah...
- Men's 10K
- Men's and Women's 100
- Women's 400
- Men's Steeple
- Women's Steeple, a gem.
I am young and have only been watching world champs/olympics since the 2007 meet. So i am not old enough to remember any better. This is a legit question from me to all you more experienced.
