What's he got planned chaps?
“Every year certain things happen where it gets to a point where suddenly Mo knows that he’s ready,†Black said. “Last year it was the Anniversary Games, when he ran a 5,000m. This year it was probably about 12 days ago. He did something in training, without killing himself, that confirmed to him and the rest of us that he was ready. He then took his shoes off and said: ‘That’s it, job done’. You’ll see something special.â€

A DFL would be pretty special

Let me guess. Everything was taken care of pharmaceutically...

There is only one plan possible for Mo...."Same procedure as last year... " He have to rely on his patented last lap kick......and maybe he is even stronger now and "unbeatable". But there will be a little surprise waiting for him this time...... -
Oh snap here comes the smack talk
-
I may be misremembering, but wasn't he "not as fit as he'd like to be" just a few weeks ago?
-
I just love the wording..."did something special in practice."
Did something special alright. Felt that primo good shiit running through his veins. EPO is a helluva drug.
Too bad he didn't get his hands on any in the first half of his career when he was a mid-packer at best. -
Let me guess.
He starts out last. Slowly moving up as gaps get created and sits at back of front group. Around 6000m he moves up closer to contention. Then around 7500m he moves to front and starts accelerating progressively every lap -

You're 2-3 laps early with each prediction, but yeah. He's found a formula for winning races that works for him. How is anyone going to beat it? -
He will sit until 800 to go position himself on the rail and kick with 400 to go. His definition of special is the same old song and dance

you just got mo'ed over -
Though he was apparently not as fit as he hoped to be only recent. The man is full of contradictory statements in his life. Does he EVER tell the truth?

Winning his 88th global medal would be pretty special. -
I think any real and decent track and field fan should want one thing- to see Mo lose. Unless he wins with a WR- and that's not gonna happen. No true fan of the sport wants to see another sit and kick

Not if it and the previous 87 were against incompetent competition. -

I'd be quite please watching Mo win again.
The point is to win. He has his strategy.
It's his competition's job to devise a plan to meet him, not his job to do something different.
What you're asking for is like asking GSW to not shoot 3s next playoffs of for Tom Brady to do all running plays -- just to see if they can win in more ways than one. -

Another post where the constant winner is supposed to change his tactics, not everyone else. -

Let's just wait and see, shall we.ðŸ”ðŸƒðŸŽ– -
If you look at the quote it did not come from Farah himself but someone speaking on his behalf at a UK Athletics press conference that Farah could not be bothered to attend.
Whatever, I will be amazed if he changes the strategy that has seen him win so many golds (why the hell should he?) and very surprised if anyone beats him in the 10K. (5K a little more open?)
