Has anyone made mention of Max Burgin on these boards? 15 year old from GBR who ran 1:49.42 recently, even more impressive than Brandon Millers times here in the US. Peep some other names on this list, don't see Brandon Miller on here though if this is a list of top Under-18 times in the world.

He was only 2nd at the English Schools champs amazingly.
These child phenomenons appear every year however and very few make any appearance on the senior stage.
Sean Molloy ran 1:48.2 at 16 and now 5 years later is running 1:47.
Still though, setting age group records is certainly a POSSIBLE indicator that you will go onto have great success. Kirani James, Usain Bolt, and Yohan Blake come to mind as athletes who were setting age group records and reached the highest level of success. This kid doesn't look that physically developed too, seems like a lot of potential exists here for improvement and wonder what his range is up to the 1500. Feel this deserves some mention considering Brandon Miller's acknowledgment on these boards.

Well your point is flawed as he then went on to win siab beating the person that beat him and the rest of Britain. As for Sean he is now doing fairly well in higher distances
Max Burgin's still 15.
Ran 1:47.50 today.

Here's Burgin's race from last summer when he first set the age 15 record - he hasn't been running for as many years as Miller, but it will be interesting to see how they continue to progress:
