It's a horrible incident, clearly, but to put the blame on Venus Williams is completely wrong. If you're running into stopped cars it's been a while since you should have stopped driving.
Williams should not have been driving a SUV as those things are just disgusting gas guzzling polluiters. It is just irresponsible or even psychpathic to go around driving one of those things.
In fact Williams should not have been driving a car polluting the environment and causing danger to everyone around in the first place. If she is such an amazing athlete then she should be walking, running, or using a bicycle as her means of personal transportation, it's not as if she is physcially handicapped in any way.
Williams should never have been paid all that money as a tennis player allowing her to buy a SUV car as she is not good enough - as McEnroe pointed out, hundreds of tennis players are better than her and most of those are not paid enough to make any sort of living about the sport.
In the light of this, it is hard to see in what area Williams is NOT at fault for such a sad accident.
