Um, yes she is. Born in Nigeria to Nigerian parents. Her name used to be Ebelechukwu Agbapuonwu. She used to a wear hijab while competing, but doesn't seem to anymore. 2015 World Youth champ.
Kinda makes you think how much talent is out there in West Africa but does not have the proper support to flourish. The support of Bahrain helped turn her into a world beater.
