this is kinda funny.
i have always thought it peculiar that soo many top athletes dont get ill for important meets, champs etc
mo farah for example. i think its almost a bigger feat to have avoid illness n injury than to have avioded gettin caught.

Ok, who moved up from the International Mile to the Bowerman mile? Who now gets a spot in the international mile?

What keeps him from only coaching his only son?
There's a larger issue here that needs to be addressed. Team Centro needs to do some serious damage control asap. The speculation and rumors (true or not) could and may have already tainted and damaged Matt's marketability. His association with the NOP and accusations against Alberto may prove to be too much of a liability for many companies to risk their reputation on. If I was Centro Sr. I would seriously consider removing Matt from the NOP and Alberto.
Are you really that ignorant? Flu season is just when there are high incidences of it. The flu virus dosent disappear after winter. I get the flu almost every Summer like clockwork. Had it just two weeks ago.

Older people more readily get sick that young people. This is common knowledge. You are easily old enough to be Centrowitz Jr.'s father.

The person who implied that most track fans don't read this carp, was correct.
Most paying fans are older and don't stick around the immature vitriol and complete fabrications that exist on the web. (Here).
And the younger fans know the web is full of bad spirited carp.

Your so called common knowedge isnt knowledge at all. Like clockwork I get the flu almost every Summer sick I was a young boy. I'm not more susceptible to sickness today nor are any of my friends.
Ignorance is bliss.
How many sub 3:30s did Walker manage? Willis has done it twice, once more than Coe and a better pr than 3:29.77, I believe. Makhloufi has not competed yet and is one of the only big guys not in the race. Why?

Older peeps do get sick more often than the young. That was the point the person was making. He made no comment at all regarding your personal situation that I can see.

Anyone who does a google image search for "ballerness" can find that, yes.

You cannot use times alone to compare runners like Walker. How may 1500/mile WR's has Willis had?

Ballerness: Ballerness is the state of performing in athletics or sex at such a high level that kenyans and porn stars can't touch you're skillz.

Or is afraid of being popped, so decided to lay low.
No, it means speculation that negative reasons are behind an action or situation. No matter the semantics, you know exactly what I meant. Don't play dumb.
You get the flu every summer?! Do you not get a flu shot? Even for people who don't get a flu shot, that is not common. Are you sure it's influenza virus?
To the point of this thread - Centro either (A) doesn't want to perform/answer the media under the heat of the recent USADA report leak, or (B) actually has some sort of minor respiratory virus. No reason to lie for any other reason than (A).
I could see his agent encouraging him to take the weekend off to let this blow over.
No I don't get flu shots. Flu shots are for little girls and effeminate men. I'm neither.
Why are you imagining things? He said he's feeling under the weather. Why isn't that good enough for you?

Little Matt isn't the brightest bulb.
The USADA would have been on their way BEFORE little Matt withdrew.
The real question is, how did he KNOW they were on their way?
Just got home from Pre and Matthew was walking around Hayward Field all chipper and taking pictures with fans. Maybe it's a hidden...internal virus with no symptoms?
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
