I agree totally, I think LeBron had a lot on his shoulders since Day 1. He also looked to have struggled in his early career with pressure. He has actually done quite well with the expectations put on him so far.
Jordan unfortunately made it difficult for all other stars by setting such high expectations. It is unfair for any other player comparisons to Jordan because MJ didn't have such a perfect record to compete against.
LeBron still has some history to write, he may just get a few more rings and erase some of his early career blemishes. I think mentally, you see his strength at an all-time high. The GS comeback was such a big moment for LeBron's legacy and a big mental hurdle. I am intersted to see him this Finals.
My points here would be that people may actually forget how good Jordan really was. The dude was 10X scoring champion and DPOY too. Also, at a point, he was clearly the most dominant player in the league in terms of winning titles. LeBron is in his 7th NBA finals straight (if they beat Boston), so he's also pretty damn dominant too. The losses does hurt his record, but it's yet to be seen what his final record will be.
At this point, MJ > LeBron
If LeBron wins 2-3 titles more, possibly he can start challenging MJs throne. Possibly... not given.
