LeBron James took excessive doses of hgh leading forever tainoting his public perception. Mj is the king of pop and was murdered in a govt conspiracy made to look like an od of klonopin.
He'll need to win or be in a couple more championships, and hit clutch game winning shots, before he can be considered better. When his career is over I think he will be considered better or as good as Jordan.
If you need to ask this question then you're dumber than you look.
MJ's work still holds up; it makes me dance anytime it is played. Lebron is impressive be he does not make me wanna dance.
it's tough to compare as they played in different era and different competition. I only really saw Jordan play when he won the last 3 championships so I saw him scoring more as fade away jump shooter and didn't see him much as the explosive player earlier in his career. Also, the way you play is so different too with hand checking allowed back then.
In defense of Lebron, Jordan won 6 championships, but he had the best coach, best teammates throughout his 6 championships as well as the competition in the finals weeent great.
But in defense of Jordan, you never know how he would've done if he had Lebron'steammates.
If all players ever were available in their prime and I had the first pick to build my ultimate team, I would pick Lebron as first pick over Jordan.
If Lebron had been playing in the Jordan era Jordan wouldn't have six rings. MJ was great. Lebron is a level above great. Lebron is 3" taller and about 50 lbs heavier than Jordan. He's a different breed of athlete. Most old guys like me don't want to admit it, but Lebron is clearly the better player.
When Jordan was playing they didn't allow traveling.
James is a Hillary loving piece of trash.
Bill clinton is a serial rapist, a adulterer and a likely pedophile.
Fact: Jordan lost his first 8 playoff games in a row.

He's made seven (?) straight Finals. Several of those dragging dung heaps of a team with him. He has three titles now, one or two more seems plausible, that certainly puts him in Jordan's realm. Personally I don't believe rings are the line in the sand as to who's the greatest. If it were, Russell would get more mentions. And Horry...jk...jk.

If you count the number of individual awards Jordan is way ahead of everyone else....
MVP
Defenisve Player of the Year
Scoring Leader
Finals MVP
Etc...
Jordan was the NBA steals leader on 3 occasions....
10x scoring leader....
Defensive Player of the Year....
And led his team to 6 championships....
In an era where you could actually still play defense....

The main reason Chamberlain is criticized is because his lack of rings. I think James is too when compared to Jordan. If he can beat the Warriors the criticism has to stop and he'll need to be considered on par with Jordan. I used to be one of these old there will never be another Jordan fans. If you're a basketball fan how can you not respect and be in awe of him.
Lebrick James is a choke artist who can't win on his own. He's only good because ESPN wanted this guy to be another Jordan for ratings
He gets every call. It's a joke. He's a average player at best.

Wow! It didn't seem possible that your knowledge of sports could be even less than your knowledge of politics and history.
All Defensive Team: MJ - 9, Lebron - 5. MVP: MJ - 5, Lebron - 4. Titles: MJ - 6, Lebron - 3.
More than numbers, Mj's will to win was so great that he beat on teammates in practice. Lebron would never do anything like that. Demeanor-wise, MJ was ferocious killer on court, while Lebron is more workmanlike, not given to on court displays. Both great players, btw. Michael was basically a scorer who learned team play. Lebron was a team player from day one who has learned to take over games when necessary.
Overall, I think LeBron is a more valuable player than MJ. Both absolutely amazing freaks of nature, however, unlike MJ, LeBron can play every position on the court at an extremely high level, other than center, which I'd imagine he could also play reasonably well if asked to do so.
Most people just say it's because Lebron doesn't have as many rings or MVP's. That's a dumb way of looking at it.
Rings depends on how good your team is. Even MJ at his athletic peak in 1988 couldn't take the Bulls far because his teammates were garbage. Pippen was too young and hadn't developed yet. Look at Westbrook this year, same situation. To win a title, you need either 2+ superstars, or 1 superstar and some role players who are at least borderline All-Stars.
MVP voting is very subjective too. It's done by sportswriters who want a good storyline. Does anyone honestly think Derrick Rose was the best player in the league in 2011? If they really voted on best player, both Lebron and Jordan would have about 10 MVP's.
I've seen both play. You can't compare the two. They both dominated their eras, but their playing styles are very different as well. Lebron plays like Magic with more scoring, less passing, and better defense and athleticism. Jordan was like a very rich man's version of D-Wade at his peak (and Wade is a HOF player).
Jordan and Lebron are 1a and 1b

How does the best player on the team beating up on his teammates show a will to win? That's like if Grant Fisher sat and kicked on his team every training run just because of his "will to win."
