Today was my first specific 800m-workout for this season - I had focused on long runs and some 5/10K-competitions since February before. So, the workout was 300-500-200-400-100 in 44-75-29-60-13 with 5' rest (walking). Was pretty windy. I felt quite okay for the first half of each run and troubled a little bit on the last 100-150m each time. Really exhausted afterwards. Considering that this was my first true specific mid-distance workout this summer season, what would you say is realistic 1) in my first race this season (April 29), 2) for the whole season, like how fast would you expect me around July/early August? I know this might be very difficult to answer and I am not expecting precise answers, but would just like to hear from your experience and so on...
