For me was probably Rupp vs Daba indoor 5k in Fayetteville. The ran like 13:17 and 13:18 and Rupp set indoor AR. Was really cool cause I was so close to the track ..

Boris Berian's spontaneous 1:46 at some random indoor trwck meet in Portland shortly before he won WC Gold.
My second is Shawn Forrest vs Rupp at 10k in fayville. Forrest put a hard surge on with some laps to go .. crowd got jacked. Rupp held on and won handily in the end. Was a great race

1978 - Two Miles at Crystal Palace, won by Steve Ovett in a new world best, over Henry Rono, and a great supporting cast (Malinowski, Coghlan, Nick Rose, John Robson). Ovett just coming off 800m second and 1500m win in European Championship.
Probably as good a race as you'd ever want to see. Rono running a fartlek, but not taking the kick out of Ovett.
Was sitting just above the bend turning into the final straight. As a bonus, I think Coe broke the British (and maybe European record) for 800m the same night.
Wow! I have watched that race many times on YouTube
Anything with Wanjuru in it.
Pure animal was his running.
