It's a good start.
It won't really make a difference. Keystone is one of many, many, many pipelines. It just happens to have name recognition. Most of that tar sand sh!t is going nowhere fast anyways. Demand is only gonna get lower and oil companies know it - that's why they're going hard on solar and wind
Bigger issue is he wants to put us back in the Paris Accord on day 1. I really hope it turns out to be a positive for the US, I really do. I hope it creates jobs, boosts the economy, and makes us energy dependent.
Somehow though, I feel like it's just gonna end the way these things always do - undeveloped countries (including China! - true fvcking story) will get not only a huge pass, but also a subsidy from the US to do.... nothing at all. To simply meet the status quo.
This whole post-colonialism guilt sh!t can't pass soon enough
