win win win no matter what wrote:
Biden and anything he represents, other than “not being Trump”, isn’t a motivating factor to any voters. Most of the liberals really wanted Bernie and would have actually been drawn out to vote FOR Bernie. They were inspired and drawn out to vote for Obama. But not Joe.
I want to circle back to this post as I am one of the more liberal people here.
I wanted Elizabeth Warren to be the nominee and voted for her in the primary.
I preferred Biden over Bernie, though.
My choice preference was based on the policies they pushed and how practical I thought they were at being implemented.
I liked Bernie's proposals but didn't think he'd get any of it passed.
I think Warren would have compromised more and actually got something progressive passed.
Biden will get things done, just not as much as Warren would have.
All of that said, I am very inspired to vote for Joe.
And not because he isn't Trump.
I am inspired because he is very compassionate and presents himself as a human being that truly wants to bring the country together and help even the people that don't support him.
He was the best person for this particular election. I think he will pull in more undecided people and those that may have chosen third party candidates.
I really like the guy.
C'mon, man! (that's the slogan)
