I'm sure this won't keep a hip and others from arguing that Sanders is only winning because moderates are spkitting the votes. He may not win, but there is very little evidence that voters coalesce in ideological lanes. If people don't want Sanders, they should vote for Warren

I am clearly not resolved on the 'people don't vote on policy decisions' vs. 'dems are not embracing socialism and Sanders is only winning by a split moderate vote.'
this is all mushy and I don't know all the factors.
BUT
I think a lot of potential dem voters, esp the people the Dems need most, women in the suburbs, are going to get a chockload of ads from Rs that will change their vote back to R after voting D in the primaries.
Ending private health insurance
raising taxes
banning fracking
green new deal
praise of USSR and Castro
encouraging loathing of wealthy people
these things are going to hurt D support of sanders.
BUT NO ONE IS SAYING THEM YET. NO ONE IS CAMPAIGNING WITH 1/10TH THE FEROCITY THAT THE RS WILL.
So any support of Sanders has to be viewed as unproven. No one is calling out his socialism yet. They will, and it will hurt him badly.
