Not supposed to be funny and not shtick.
We are in charge of whether we tell the truth or not. To point to Jesus as an example of someone who never lied and then say we can't be like that is giving permission to lie.
No reason for a person with integrity to lie. Those of you who are liars, you can change and become a non-liar.
I come on to this message board mostly for entertainment. Maybe I do a little venting, maybe I pick up some new ideas, maybe I spar or debate a little bit, but mostly its for fun. I honestly never get offended by a letsrun post, even if I'm attacked. I think you don't get offended easily and in that spirit I have some questions for you.
Your last post apparently annoyed some people, but I find it really interesting that you would post that you never tell a lie.
So I have these questions to delve into this a little further.
(1) Are you absolutely sure that you never lie?
(2) When was the last time you told a lie? Have you always been that way or as a young adult did you have an epiphany regarding the importance of never lying. Did little boy flagpole, sometimes lie?
(3) What about white lies on unimportant issues told to protect someone's feelings? I assume that you would lie then right? "How do I look today" "Well, I have to be honest, you look kind of ugly"
