Then Pence is the nominee in a brokered convention. I don't see any other outcome.

I don't understand why people consider Trump to be so hard to beat in 2020. His track record is terrible.
His track record is outstanding. We have an unprecedented economic miracle after years of carnage. He replaced the worst trade deal in history (NAFTA) with the greatest deal ever (USMCA). He pulled out of disastrous Paris Accord and Iran nuclear deal. He saved us from the blink of nuclear war with North Korea.
Under President Trump, America is great again.
Satire, right?

Oy. Trump didn't even write that speech. He's not growing on anyone.
It was probably Peggy Noonan who had Reagan say, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall." Did Lincoln write the Gettysburg address? Why are you now concerned with who wrote the speech?
Yes, Lincoln wrote the Gettysburg Address.
The thought that we send an openly racist, unconstitutional, draft dodging, lying neo-fascist to D-Day memorials is just about the saddest thing I can imagine.

Trump’s recent Normandy Address where he calls Mueller (a many times decorated Marine Captain wounded in Vietnam) a “fool,” with the white crosses in the picture, is a speech no one is going to take credit for.
It was foolish of Mueller to volunteer to fight in a futile war. He could have even dodged the draft if he had been smart.

He could have been a conscientious objector if he opposed the war.
Getting a doctor to lie about a fake bone spur is the coward's way out.
BREAKING NEWS!
Trump fires the greatest lawyer in the world for making himself, and Trump, look like the clowns they are.

I am in lockstep with all of that. The problem is that not all voters are. Many voters simply look at where they are today and decide that if they are ok with that, they will go with what has been.

We’ve caught you in another lie, since you just claimed you didn’t know whether Lincoln wrote it!
Chernobyl was a “myth,” too. Remember? For about 3 days, until the radiation blew into Western Europe from near Kiev!
Unlike Flagpole, I will admit that I was not sure that Lincoln had written the Gettysburg address on his own. I think a long time ago I knew that he had written the address but I was very wrong to say that he did not. I admit that I was wrong. Can you forgive me?
Not sure why I was brought into this, but the main point is that you were wrong. Good that you admitted so.
I'm looking forward to the day when the dam breaks and reporters start asking Trump 'Why do you lie so much" or when he pulls a whopper like today when he said Mueller testified and then wrote a letter to retract his testimony...to pin him down on it.
Right now reporters don't want to be iced out of the WH after calling trump a liar to his face, but when the election free for all starts, it's going to happen.

Another lying draft dodger spoke at the 50th anniversary of D-Day. History repeats itself. The same thing, different parties.
Nixon also, on the 25th anniversary. Can’t remember offhand how he got sent stateside.
Sailed a desk, Naval Reserve, logistics, well connected, etc.

and the openly racist, unconstitutional, neo fascist part?
Nixon was certainly guilty on all 3!

that's not true. Nixon was not well connected and he repeatedly sought roles closer to the action.
For god's sake the whole young Nixon thing is that he had few connections.

I wouldn't have wanted to risk my life in Viet Nam so I'm not going to criticize either Clinton or Trump for not going. The difference is that Trump markets himself as being a super patriot and likes to hug the flag. He recently claimed that being Commander-in-chief and increasing the military budget makes up for him not going to Viet Nam

Nixon served in the Navy during WWII, although he could have claimed exemption as a Quaker.
Nixon might have been many things, but he wasn't a draft dodger like Clinton and Trump.

That part is just your personal opinion. You are entitled to your opinion just like everyone.
