That's the Trump brainwashing affect.
He paints a person one way to his base and defends his firing.
In reality he just gets rid of everyone that will not conspire with him.
He really tried to have Mueller fired and Rosenstein.
I heard for two years from the liberal media that Trump was attempting to fire Mueller and maybe also Rosenstein. For two years I heard that crock. Why did he not fire them? He can fire them in a heartbeat. He is head of the executive branch. Nothing stopped him from firing them. And he never fired them. So don't give the that BS that Trump was trying to fire them. If he wanted to fire them he would have fired them. Do you understand how the president is in charge of the executive president?
Good Lord. There are many reasons Trump didn't just fire Mueller himself, but the two main ones are:
1) He's a wimp. This has been brought up several times by administration insiders...he fired people on is reality show, but he does not have the stomach for it when it really matters in person.
2) He gets cover if someone else does the firing...at a MINIMUM, he gets one other person to agree with him that the firing was deserved...all done to protect himself.
The Mueller Report clearly lays out that Trump contacted McGahn numerous times for him to get rid of Mueller, and McGahn refused. That is irrefutable. That is one of the reasons there are now over 800 former prosecutors who say that if Trump were not president right now that he would have been indicted. Fox News' Judge Napolitano is one who agrees.
The Mueller Report (the 90-92% that we have been allowed to read) is damning on the subject of Obstruction of Justice. Foolish to believe otherwise.
