That sure did take a while.
Does that mean 5 more years before the case is made to indict or impeach Trump?
The wheels of justice move slowly, but not that slowly.
Mueller is aware of the political calendar. He doesn't want his investigation to drag out until late this year.
He will wait until Barr is installed as AG and then they will make a decision on whether or not to indict the president and/or his family members. Barr probably will be against those indictments unless Mueller has evidence of particularly egregious crimes. But that won't stop other jurisdictions from indicting them.
Either way, Tiny is going to prison.
Like Manafort, Stone was a slam dunk from the start. But Mueller plays 3D poker, so just keeping an eye on Stone since the investigation began probably paid many dividends in expanding the investigation and strengthening evidence against him. Over the last year this guy has probably further incriminated himself many times over.
Mueller is basically Jigsaw and Trump still has no clue he’s been playing and losing Jigsaw’s game.
Flights halted into LaGuardia. Those darn unpaid air-traffic controllers!
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team has indicted or gotten guilty pleas from 34 people and three companies that we know of
Six former Trump advisers, 26 Russian nationals, three Russian companies, one California man, and one London-based lawyer. Seven of these people (including five of the six former Trump advisers) have pleaded guilty.

What he (and Wilbur Ross) are saying is, "Borrow money from your father! How hard can this be?!?!"

Yup, and as usual you can expect radio silence from any trumper
Yeah, they’re wearing out that Russian-English Dictionary!

none of this will ever stop trumpers from shouting witch hunt and 'no collusion.'
they will never agree that the Mueller investigation was valid, necessary and effective.
Russia actually invented fake news with their newspapers Pravda (“Truth”) & Izvestia (“News”). Joke was, “In Truth there is no news, and in News there is no truth!” So they’re used to this game.

And of course Trump hinting at a conspiracy about CNN now. It was clear it was coming. Jerome Corsi’s stepson testified yesterday so some smart reporter went to FL to wait for the arrest. Kudos to those unpaid FBI agents doing their job to protect our democracy.
I'm starting to think that Tiny might declare a state of emergency today.
With the Roger Stone news and the air traffic controller news, this seems like a good time for him to take over the news cycle.
Then again, it's Friday. So he might keep his powder dry to see how things play out over the weekend.

CORRECT, we don’t care. Meuller is only used to strive for a result that democrats are trying to get. Just look at the NFL and Ray Rice. He was used to give a perception that the nfl in no way saw the video tape though the ap reported the nfl had a copy of that tape. He was used to cover up for his good buddy Goodell. This Russia thing is only used to appease democrats and the flagpole’s of the world.

Completely bogus. In the last couple of pages I've talked about how the Democrats let blue collar people down and blamed Bernie Sanders and those in the Democrat Party who talk of free college and said that was one of the reasons Trump won the election, even taking the blame off of "the establishment" and placing it firmly at the feet of the Democrat Party.
Anyone who thinks I am a partisan sheep doesn't read enough or carefully enough.
Flagpole,
You agree with me on about 90% of issues. You definitely are partisan. But don't look at that as a bad thing. There is nothing wrong with being partisan. Some people like this guy in recent years have tried to label it as something bad. It isn't.
I am a Democrat and generally side with Democrats on most issues. I am a fiscal conservative. That poster called me a "partisan sheep". There is a difference between generally supporting a Party's platform and being a "partisan sheep". I have voted for Republican senators before, but that's the highest office I have done that for.
I wouldn't even say I'm partisan without the "sheep" part.
Here's the definition of partisan - "a strong supporter of a party, cause, or person.."
I am not a strong supporter of the Democrats as there are things I don't agree with that they do, and I actually prefer that the Republicans have a strong party. Many Democrats believe that the Democrat Party will be stronger after Trump and they are gleeful about that. I share no glee over that possibility (will be fleeting anyway if true). I am not a strong supporter of any one person currently and was as lukewarm a supporter of Hillary as I could have gotten. The last time I did that it was for Bill Clinton, and I stopped support for him eventually and felt he should have been removed from office. If you want to say that for me "partisan" refers to the cause and the cause here being getting a criminal President out of office, then I will accept that definition. My aim to get Trump out of office is to remove a criminal, not to make it better for Democrats. I maintain that I am not partisan as the word is typically used.

Probably not, but I will be satisfied no matter when it happens. I maintain he won't make it through his term.
Yeah, I’m not looking forward to Pence, but he has worked with a legislature before and possibly is aware of the existence of those pesky “laws.”

Contrarian is likely correct. I long ago won the stock market debate and so I don't even post on that thread any more. Time will show that I am right about Trump also. Some people are just contrarian. I've known a couple, and Igy could certainly be one of those. Since I don't know him personally, I can't be certain that he is, but there is some evidence to support that.
Respectfully, I would pay a little more attention to the markets and less to politics. The character of the market changed 9/20/2018. A rebalance to that target allocation that you promised yourself to make “if ever reached” would be a wise move.
I am in the position now that it doesn't really matter. My diligence and massive investing since 1989 have made it so that I am beyond a tipping point. We would have to have a 90% collapse of the market that forever stayed there for me to sweat even a little bit. The fact of the matter is that I could lose ALL of my stock money at this point, work until my wife and I are both 62, take early Social Security, sell the house (which is paid for) and downsize to a nice condo in a low tax state and live on the SS, the cash (out of the market) I have saved and the difference in the house and the condo. That is worse case scenario, and that will not happen. We wouldn't get to do all the things we want to do (the reason why we have invested so heavily), and we wouldn't be able to help the kids with home purchases and wouldn't be able to leave them a lot, but we would still have a good retirement.

The only way you have to not look forward to Pence is if Trump decides not to run in 2020. I think that is a bit more likely than I once did but I still believe it to be an extreme longshot.
However, you're correct at this point that if Trump did not run and Pence ran in 2020 that the Democrats do not have the horse to beat him.
In other words you don’t fall in the toothless mouth breathing trumper bucket
There's a pep rally being held for Roger Stone right now. LOL!
The minions simply have no shame whatsoever.
