Exactly which horse should we have backed?
EXCELLENT question, and the simple answer is ANYONE ELSE who could have legally been elected. Trump is that corrupt, and his corruption at a high enough level to know not to vote for him was seen early enough to stay away...that's where the Never Trumpers came from. But TODAY, we understand just how severe his corruption is (well, those of us who can see the writing on the wall...it will take some of you longer to smell the coffee).
From the original big group of Republicans, Jeb Bush and John Kasich would have been reasonable choices. Lindsey Graham would have been a spectacular choice. None of the others would have been good choices, but still better than Trump.
For the General Election, if you really couldn't get yourself to vote for Hillary (as much as she's not likable and as much as she had some REAL scandals of her own (not any of that pedophile or murderous false crap that made the rounds), then a no vote or a third-party candidate would have been better...actually Hillary would have been better as I've already said ANYONE ELSE would have been a better choice.
But, getting past the election with all we know now about Trump and his criminal associates, you need to stop backing him. People say Pence is worse, but I disagree. Pence, as far as we know, hasn't been involved in criminal behavior, doesn't grab women by the pvssy, doesn't talk like a drunken sailor like Trump does, and he doesn't have the charisma to pull off any crazy ideas or policies. Plus, he doesn't admire dictators.
Trump is out to destroy the rule of law in this country, and that should not be acceptable in any way shape or form.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
