Trump is getting involved in stuff he has no clue about and neither do the people who have bothered to stick around by his side. China and the EU are absolutely going to run us over on this kind of fight. Gary Cohn was the smartest guy by far and he dipped once he saw Trump was about to sabotage global trade. Trumpkins continue believing in their god.
But the deals, man, the deals! We'll have the best deals ever!
Okay, so now it is Congressional Republicans who Trump has decided must pay for his wall. . . . LOL.
Per Robert Costa and Josh Dawsey. “In recent days, he has insisted to associates that congressional Republicans ‘owe’ him more money for the wall since he has raised them millions for their reelection bids and signed the GOP-authored tax bill into law."

To add to my post - he is pretty much alone in his global trade stance. Fail

I believe Trump actually does believe this, he can’t hold himself accountable for anything - everything bad is everyone else’s fault. Traits of a great leader.

Huh? The market exploded upward right after Trump won the presidency. It was up like 40% 14 months later. He definitely did have something to do with the market performance during that time.
Ok, ok, I’ll admit the market shot up at the idea of a deregulated Trump market playing field. When the nuts and bolts of his administrations policy started getting implemented, the market has reacted negatively.
Does anyone other than Trump think the new tariffs are a good idea? Is there any consenting opinion for these?
Trump's lawyer, John Dowd has resigned.

Yup, Trump's personal, and lead, attorney who cried last week for Mueller to stop the Russia Thing.

No one important other than Trump thinks they are a good idea. It also goes against free market principles which republicans like to claim their party is all about. This is one of those fascinations of his that goes back decades and has zero fundamental basis, he simply has a feeling that's how to look strong. Ultimately, he just wants something, anything, next to his name.

Well his stupid trade war is what set off this drop. He could have at least given me the courtesy of waiting a couple of weeks. I'm scheduled to sell a lot of shares in a few days.

Well, steel is used to make YUGE, TALL, STRONG buildings. And Trump knows buildings.

It can't be understated. This is really, really, really bad for the godless Trump.
First, it shows that his own attorney has no faith in him.
But more important, as attorneys often warn, he's changing horses in midstream. We may never know about it, but Mueller will surely take advantage of the chaos in this moment of transition. Plus there is the chaos itself. Dowd takes with him all the knowledge and understanding gathered in his head. The legal team will struggle to figure out who has responsibility for what. There will be infighting. This leaves the president's defense in tatters.

For a guy that claims to be so innocent, this isn't good for him.
Meanwhile, Looney Tunes Ben Carson tried flushing taxpayer revenue down the drain redecorating an office with a $30,000 table, then blamed his wife after his first lies were found to be lies. Classy.
And Mr. Pruitt spends over $100,000 on first class flights, and Republicans block Democratic bid to halt Pruitt's first-class flights.
What happened guys? Where is the swamp draining?
LOL ... and just last week Trump tweeted:
The Failing New York Times purposely wrote a false story stating that I am unhappy with my legal team on the Russia case and am going to add another lawyer to help out. Wrong. I am VERY happy with my lawyers, John Dowd, Ty Cobb and Jay Sekulow. They are doing a great job and.....

I don't know, maybe Gary could enlighten us. Trumpers seem to be in hiding today, I guess looking the other way is the only way to continue supporting the Ornage One.
Market is in free fall mode today... corrections of this size have not happened since the recession. Thank you almighty Trump, all credit to you.

This is correct. The trade war fears are driving this big drive today.
Meh...Trump won't be in office forever. A volatile market to go with a volatile president. Seems about right.
It's a good thing that...
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.

This is all correct. The one thing about Trump though is that everything is in tatters because of his actions. It seems impossible that a lawyer with any shred of dignity could continue to work with him. Ty Cobb will likely be the next to go. He was saying to cooperate with Mueller, and Trump obviously does not want to do that.
I think good lawyering on his side will only help to decrease the punishment. He has no chance of walking away with this scot free.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
