Wish I could buy stock in the black UniverSoul Circus.. they've got the market cornered now! They just need to keep their Zebras better locked up next time they are in Philly.

We loved to perform for the people. Why do think all you humans go out to Hollywood?
It's a blue collar activity
is this a joke? or are you that archaic? The times, they are a changing ROJO, get with it.
Next thing to go needs to be the zoos. Who wants to be stared at and photographed all day? Depressed animals in a state of zoochosis overdosing on zoozac. Close the zooz next!

Yeah, let's release all those animals into the wild so they can all die within ten minutes. And screw all the amazing research that zoos do.

Some should definitely be closed down but others are helping with the fertility of endangered species and helping their numbers to increase back to where they should be before man totally screwed over their natural habitats selfishly.
Extinctions happen but not like this and never before - The 'Ivory Trade' F'ers don t give a $hit about what they kill in order to get their cash. Some zoos and research centers help to preserve the dignity of these animals place in the environment.

The same is true for coal. The world has moved on. Trump still wants to Make Coal Burn Again!
Do you know how most electricity is produced, that stuff you would use to fuel your "clean" car?

Did you know that "most" refers to more than 50%?
http://www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.cfm?id=427&t=3America lost it's MOJO when Mr. Henry Ford stopped making his Model T.
When is the last time the Brojos went to the circus?
If you can't answer in the last 10 years...you are why it's shutting down

In my opinion you are confusing zoos with something like wildlife sanctuaries. Zoos are interested in making a profit off of animals with little to no concern about the health of the animals. While sanctuaries are interested in the health of the animal and using their profits to better the animal or its species if it happens to be endangered.
I completely agree with your statement on poachers. They, similar to zoos, are not interested in the well-being of the animal or its species, rather in making a profit.
I believe this statement is true with most or almost all organizations that own animals. Animals are very abused in our culture. Some examples of industries which care more about taking advantage or animals to make a profit and less about the animal or species:
-farms
-horse races
-dog breeders
-zoos
-theme parks
-some clothing companies
-meat/dairy industry
-etc.

I would say it is about time. I went to the circus once in the seventies - I'm 58 now - and it was archaic and outdated even then as entertainment. Put a few artifacts in a history museum where they belong.
They are closing the museum. Your argument could stand for opera, orchestral music fine art, ballet.
Do kids still enjoy the circus? I'm sure the right age group would
Yeah, capitalism sucks doesn't it?

There are dog breeders and then there are puppy mills. Your statement about taking advantage of animals and not caring about their well-being applies in spades to puppy mills. It does not really apply to many responsible dog breeders.
To anyone who ever considers getting a puppy (not a rescue) the very first thing to learn is the difference between a responsible dog breeder and a puppy mill. It is night and day.
They couldn't compete. A new circus is opening up on 1/20/17. They have a gaggle of clowns that are very entertaining.
