Still nursing a minor cold/cough that will probably stay until the end of indoors.
Ran a 4:18 mile on friday with which I'm not really satisfied and did 3x400 with 5' in 55/56 on Monday.
Hoping for some more improvement soon.

Some of those workouts are very very impressive! It looks like you are definitely lacking the speed but your endurance is great right now. I'm running 1:54-1:55 and couldn't touch most of those workouts. Do some flying 50s a few times a week and work on your top end and I could see you running 1:52-1:53 no problem.
Next race, next disappointment.
Went out trailing a group of guys going for a 3:45 and slowly let the gap grow up until 1200 when I started to completely blow up - was essentially on my own from 500 out.
Splits 61/2:03/2:35
I remember thinking if I run a 30s last 200 I'll absolutely crush my pb. Instead, I hit the last lap and just fall asleep and implode. No drive, don't even try to push through the fatigue, just lethargically crawl home in a pathetic 40 second 200.
Maybe we've been doing too much of the high intensity stuff and not enough with short rests.
I've thrown up too often to count in the past few weeks, after pretty much every session and race and am starting to feel pretty tired.
The training sessions go well but on race day I just want to crawl back into bed.
One more week and two or three races and the season is over and so far looks to be a bloody massive disappointment.
My training sessions have gone better than ever before, but when racing things just don't come together.
Female coach having affair with male runner. Should I report it?
Colin Sahlman runs 1:45 and Nico Young runs 1:47 in the 800m tonight at the Desert Heat Classic
If Daniel's and Pfitz are outdated..then where do I look for modern training plans?
