Well in your case it may not be the method but the medium where you did your running that caused your injury. Running on pavement too much is not a good idea regardless of the training method. Good luck in the future. Hopefully you will stay healthy.
I'm very intrigued by this method and I will look into getting the book mentioned earlier in this thread.
