No mid-distance guy "wants" to coach XC.
No mid-distance guy "wants" to coach XC.
How many countable coaches does OSU have?!
More than 6?

This is false. In some cases yes, but for most that's simply but true
Devin West to ASU?
not true...i am a d3 head coach...10 month...$60k/year with good benefits. i pay $0 for health insurance (kids are on my wifes plan).not bragging about my salary, but at least i can afford a normal life.10-month is not really 10-month anyway. i am doing something almost every day for the program, and am i the office 1-2 days a week....not all day, but i am at work.

No incentive:
10 month position = not full-time = no benefits
Unfortunately there's some confusion on the position at Coe College. On the NCAA website it's for a head coach on Coe HR website it's for an assistant? Coe HR website does not list a head coach position at all. Does anyone out here know what Coe College is hiring? Head Coach or an Assistant? Perhaps both?
Last week before August...anyone got an insider news about potential hirings this week? Or are we gonna drag out the big jobs until the cross country invitationals start?
It appears throws jobs will definitely drag out.
Angela Reckart to William & Mary
Any word on Adams State Sprints/Jumps and Colorado Mesa Head?

How true is this? Can anyone verify?
Not true at all.

Yeah that's because Ryan Vanhoy is going to W&M!

YES I AM!
Nick Symmonds to W&M. He went to a D3 school, the William and Mary director got his coaching start in d3.

Indeed. It's laughable how some of you troll here when in reality they are oblivious
Heard the Adams job isn't paying a ton now that it isn't the head position that rock held. The fact that rock was suspended from conference championships by the rmac blows my mind. What adult acts like that?
Better yet it amazes me that this makes two "track" coaches dismissed in a row from Adams.
This is not true. There's plenty of 9-10 month college coaching jobs that are full time with benefits. I'm at my third college and it's the first one I have a 12 month contract. All have been full time with benefits. But most head coaches will tell you that even if you are on a 10 month contract you can't take 8 weeks off and be ready for XC season and not recruit for 8 weeks!
