I've been burnt out since middle school and I really have no desire to work a job just for money to get by.
How are you eating, paying rent, etc now? Does your family have resources? Can you get a diagnosis of anxiety disorder or the like? My 33 year old stepson hasn't worked since he was 20. He gets SSI disability for having anxiety. He lived very comfortably with his father until his stepmother kicked him out. Now he lives with his mother and me, enjoying a fine home and never ending leisure time. He runs or bikes every day, watches tv and plays on his computer. Because any responsibility makes him anxious, he is not required to help with household tasks. His SSI payments cover his car payments and wireless. When his aunt dies, he and his sister are the sole heirs to his uncle's fortune, so no worries after his mother and I pass on. If you can replicate a scenario like this, embrace it and enjoy!
Read "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle.
Don't mistake it for just another 'psycho-babble' book. It's really interesting. You have to solve your problem yourself. You can't expect someone else to save you.
Quit feeling sorry for yourself...you're not alone. There are a lot of people who feel the same way.
You are a tool.
This thread had some gold until that feggot bartender highjacked it.
You're a slacker. You remind me of your father when he went here; he was a slacker, too.
Just trying to help the OP...
I like many, was stuck in the college routine...Not sure, sad, depressed, skinny runner. Hell I even went door to door for Obama, and this past election was a strong Trump supporter. You always need to keep growing and bettering yourself. I also found faith in god after many emo years.
Hate is easy in this world(previous posters at me), and depression and hate on yourself is hard to not creep in. I still deal with doubt of my life now that I want to plan a family. Of course you feel burned out, not wanting to work. Look at the sad world we live in, and this state of everyone feeling sorry and looking for hand outs.
That was me for years, it's hard to look at yourself in the mirror and realize you are the problem. I was lucky, had a serious heart attack at 21 and should have died from it, running related, like the news this morning on this board. But it woke me up, and I started to travel. I found some good w*ed, got a little ryan hall in me and hit the gym, felt more like a man, started to make and set goals. Attained cash, and figured out how to make my cash work for me. When I first started I'd make a few thousand, then piss it away. I just kept going. When I was in your shoes, I went and hiked the Appalachian Trail. I didn't have any money, hitch hiked to the start and just started walking with some rice and panhandled my way. It's in those moments you grow. Like a river flows downhill, keep growing, getting bigger, and someday you will hit the ocean my friend.
I'm a big fan of the Eofire podcast by the way.
OP are you still there? There's a lot of love for you buddy. We're rooting for you.
