I've been burnt out since middle school and I really have no desire to work a job just for money to get by. If not already, I am very close to becoming a deadbeat. I'm not passionate about anything, so I don't know what to do with my life career-wise. I have a high school diploma and have only ever worked a minimum wage job. Got a call today to do a phone interview for some $15/hr job, but I just ignored it. I think the thing that is holding me back the most is the application/interview process that you have to go through to get a new job. I enjoy working hard, but I always have bad anxiety when it comes to interviews and starting at a new workplace. I'm considering just joining the military as I think it's the only way for me to have a decent life when I'm older. I can score high enough on the ASVAB to get almost any enlisted job I want, but I have no clue what I want to do or what branch. Plus I hear you have to wait many months to get into the military, so I would probably have to find some bullshit job to work in the meantime anyways. Anybody have any ideas of something I could do with my life? I know I'm a pathetic loser.
