"you mad bro?" is just a great way to cut down an debate opponent, particularly on a message board. It immediately puts that person on the defensive, makes them look silly, but does not touch on the issue at hand.
Another similar statement is "whoa! sounds like somebody needs to get laid!"... so after some guy goes on some big rant about X , you say that and he looks like an uptight fool. Try it sometime.

I think these women end up getting themselves into the school and fall right back into that school's social scene like they were students. So they get into the same patterns as the kids, they "fall" for the popular kid at that school, even though this kid brings nothing to the table in real life.
This. These women are losers who peaked at 18.
I'm a woman, and no woman in her right mind is attracted to a teenage boy. Hell, neither are these women. They are just using these kids to feed their own narcissism. You don't go to a teenager when you are looking to have great sex.
If you sleep with a woman like this, you are inviting a whole lot of crazy into your life.

Yeah, I used to teach and I always enjoyed watching the social shenanigans from afar. I was also shocked at how dialed in some of the teachers were to what was going on with the kids. Who was dating who, who was popular etc..
Schools are their own unique little societies. These very very small groups where someone is considered "hot" or "smart" but they are only being compared to others in that very very small school. When compared to a city or town at large those kids are often middling at best.

Well, one local incident involving a woman (not teacher, but mother sleeping with son's friend) now involves criminal charges, sex offender registry, a contentious divorce, ongoing custody issues, restraining orders, competency hearings, and a civil law suit filed by the parents of the young man. Is any sex worth being drug through that sort of mess?

For the woman it is not worth it. For the guy it is one and done, see you later, bye.
History is littered with both men and women that have thrown their lives away for a good time. It's a hormone thing that overrides rational thought. It just happens that this woman threw her life away for a 17yo vs the normal destructive pattern we see everyday.
Is this really what goes for hot these days? Don't get me wrong, at 15 I would have not had any issues with this hag throwing herself at me, but she is not that hot for a grown ass man.

Ummm, wrong. The restraining order was placed on HER, to stay away from HIM. The civil law suit involves compensation from HER for what she did to HIM. The criminal charges were against HER for having sex with HIM. You don't think that required his participation in ongoing legal proceedings? Although not his fault, as he was a minor being exploited by an adult who should have known better, but HER involvement with HIM was one of the contributing factors that blew up his classmate's family.
Being involved in that kind of mess is not a one and done experience.
I find a 25 year old women that goes for a 45-50 year old man more perverse and disturbing.

She is doing what is biologically the smartest thing for her and her children. She has removed the element of chance. She could hook up with a guy her age that MIGHT end up being a good provider or she can take the sure thing in a grown man that is established.

This has to be the case - I think we all know adults, even if they work in industries other than education, who never quite got over the high school mindset when it comes to gossip / social arrangements / dealing with others.
I cover high school sports for a living, and it only takes a few months of being around the kids even in that limited way to observe how each school is arranged into its cliques and social groups. I can imagine the temptation to insert oneself into it would be very strong for someone who never finished growing up.
This is very true. Especially when the teacher is close in age to the students. There are some teachers coming straight out of college who might be 23 or 24 years old. If they are attractive, I can see the 17 and 18 year olds students liking them and expressing their feelings towards those teachers. I can totally see a young female teacher being seduced by the star of the football team if she is weak minded and has not yet gotten over the high school mindset. These things do happen and probably more often than we think. Not all stories make the news.
