I work until 5:00 or 5:30. After work I usually run from the parking lot of my suburban office along some residential streets . I sometimes also run loops through a large parking lot across the street from my office. I find if I wait to get home its harder to motivate myself to run. I also run with running groups once or twice a week. I don't like treadmills as I always feel like I might fall off. I don't like indoor tracks as there are often soccer games or Frisbee games in the middle of the tracks. I live near Boston so the weather makes things interesting. During the winter I try to coordinate my cross-training to coincide with the worst weather days. However unless it is slippery or below 0 windchill I try to get out to run. Today I ran in pouring rain and 45 degree weather. I occasionally run in the morning or at lunch to avoid running in snowstorms.
