Hi I wanted to know if any of you could give me tips on training for the 3200/3KSC.
A week or two before you're aiming to peak, 4x800 with 2 minutes rest will get you sharp and tell you where you're at. If you're focusing on the steeple, do it with barriers.
I'm looking to peak in mid February and late june/ early july. Should I do the 800s as my hard days or just once as my last hard workout?
for the 3,000m SC, I was told from a Kenyan runner in the late 1990's that you need the speed of a miler & the endurance for the 5,000m at that time he was the best in that event (Moses Kiptanui). hope that this will help you.
