So...now this guy is getting his recruiting violations advertised...watch toward near the end of the video: http://www.milesplit.com/articles/193951-recruiting-minute-xc-stars-choose-stanford-providence-iowa-state-uva-more-
What's the violation?
Coaches can not comment on recruits to media before they have signed an NLI. They may only reply to confirm that they are recruiting. If he did indeed inform Milesplit that these girls committed, it is a violation.
Not sure but I don't think a coach can announce a verbal commitment Until the NLI is signed. The kid can announce it, just not the school or coach.
Those two had already announced it. No recruiting violation.
I ran at Purdue while Adrian was there. Not sure why one person (seems like the same person as s/he is not very original when choosing new names) has such a dislike for him.
I can't say much for Northern Illinois as a school or its facilities but the harsh bashing of Adrian isn't warranted. Meet him and talked to the women on the team to see for yourself. Some people don't like his personality but I didn't have an issue with him but his training is pretty standard and like what you see at any school in the MAC.
Word is that U of I Champaign women's is messed up, not better than their club counterparts.

Wrong. He still cannot tell any media that they have committed until he has that NLI in hand. Doesn't matter where the prospects themselves have blasted it. He can retweet it, like it, share it, etc...but he can't say or type a word about it...the NCAA was still abundantly clear about it his year. Forwarding to compliance in 3...2...1...
And for the record, I have zero dog in this fight...except for the blatant recruiting violation that most of the rest of us play by...
Watched the video and sure enough there is a recruiting violation there. No wonder he is getting lots of commitments, he is plain out and out cheating! What a low-life.

So what you're saying is you got out worked (recruited)... Get out from behind your keyboard and recruit!

We wouldn't be recruiting the same...um...demographic. Trust me. And this doesn't make him a low life (I sense some sarcasm) even if it just confirms the douchiness...just surprised by the blatant disregard when everyone knows this rule.
This guy is the furthest thing from a douche.
Coach is a good man and works hard. The women have responded well to him along with his training, and he is building a program that is solid considering a lack of tradition previously. Not sure what you guys want but once again troll it up.

We want him to follow the rules.
2nd place at Mac still a bad coach?
Not a bad coach. Still has not done anything that makes us say that he is a great coach. Good coach, maybe. One team finishing 2nd one time. God job. His mouth and ego are annoying. He needs to do more to be considered a great coach. Nobody is saying he is a bad coach. He's good. So far.
The coach aside, the school is a ghetto! It's the bottom feeder (besides csu) of all the Illinois public universities. What's to like there? Of all the schools to choose, northern? ICK, the place is gross. You will regret it for sure.
