That was an amazing duel the last 2 miles.

Kirui takes it, 2:11:22 unofficial
Kirui wins!!! It shows you shoudl never pick a race based on 'who looks the best.'
Some people just have smooth form. Others don't.
Interesting finish celebration for Kirui. Does some Kemboi dance moves, but then suddenly a somber prayer on his knees looking up to heaven.
He didn't acknowledge Chumba at the finish. Are they not buddies? Poor sportsmanship? LOL

my god I cannot handle that female commentator
Kirui showing the tactical form we haven't seen in a few years from him. He is a master at non-rabbited affairs.
I Dont like these slow marathons
Sambu 2:13:35 for 5th in his debut. Very good.
Estrada finishes as the top American in 8th in 2:13:56.
Kibet 10th in 2:16:37.
Great run by sambu, and solid by estrada as well. I am sure both will be pleased with that.
Florence Kiplagat 2:21:32 unofficial -- very nice frontrunning.
Where in the hell is everyone? There is no in sight of the women's winner?
Puskedra finishes 19th in 2:20:18. Tough end to the race for Luke. He went 15:46 from 25k to 30k but then 16:57 from 30k to 35k and 19:23 from 35k to 40k.
I'm not sure why you all complain about the female commentator so much. I'm not sure why you complain about commentators at all. Just watch the race.

She's like the sideline girl all the major sports have now to come across as so ignorant that it makes the actual announcers seem somewhat intelligent.

Great interview with Abel Kirui afterwards. I'll see if I can get a copy of it.
Both him and Kiplagat are coached by Renato Canova.
Kirui said he wanted to do something big in America.
"It’s been wonderful, it’s amazing…. I was putting in my prayers and efforts to win today."
The reporter was pretty good and asked him if he was worried about Dickson Chumba, and Kirui said "I had a very strong mind. This time I knew it was llife or death (and I was going to win)."
He then talked about turing his attention to London and taking on Bekele and Kipchoge.
"I think I need to do something in London," he said.
Congrats to Renato.
On to NASCAR at Charlotte. Not a cloud in the sky there, plenty of fans. That weather guy Jim Cantore is full of it.
Hurricane my fat arse. My trailer is fine. Time to crack another cold one and have the rest of last nights pizza.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
