Are people serious with the Oregon chatter? I moved for work a little while back and am from the northeast. I would say Boston is much much worse just because of the humidity. If you're in Eugene/Salem/Portland it almost never snows. Winters stay 30-45 degrees. In the summer it's still 50-60 in the morning on days that it hits 100 and there's no humidity so evening runs are plenty doable. There are very few days you can't wear shorts to run. It's pretty ideal for training
