Great run. Wish he would've challenger for gold. I'm sure he just wanted to solidify silver that last lap.
Gold was out of reach in any case. What I'm proud of is that Jager could have settled for bronze and went for silver.
Evan! what a race, he had it coming for him! wha a fast time, for the looks sub 8 is right on his nose.
I miss Kemboi's awesome celebration tho... The man is a character with his hair and his dancing moves!
Anyone know what he was telling Evan when they were both talking on the side? It looks like Kemboi was a little disipointed.
Wow, what a run! So glad I caught the last 600m live. Was out on a training run, after racing a 5k. Jager had a great kick and looked good. Too bad he could not go by the KEN guy while the KEN guy was showboating. Great run--the best yet for the American team.
This makes up for my crummy 5k this morning.
An 8:04 in that heat. Wow!
very smart race. I am not happy about the fact that you can't see any race videos online for most of these races, because the powers that be are policing them, even though you can't see them on their networks after the fact either.
This was really the only kind of race, a fast one, where he could unseat Kemboi's kick, and even then Kemboi was in it and couldn't get him. If it was indeed hot, then there is obviously a sub 8 in the tank for Jager in Europe afterwards if he can hold this peak a few more weeks. Tremendous job, because when you have Kemboi and Conseslus and Brimin and Benabbad in the race, among others, and the Kenyans in particular are prone to sweep this race, that is an incredible result--and in the heat as well!
I thought it was funny that kipruto was showboating, he definitely learned that from Kemboi. Kemboi must have felt awkward but prob deserves a taste of his own medicine. Great career for kemboi as well. Congrats to Jäger!!
Unlike Coburn!
Who the hell is Jager? KEMBOI and kipruto how does this guy beat you?USA??? USA is getting its a** kicked in the shorter races though.
Simply awesome race. So much fun to watch.
So you must be looking forward to Kenya's excellent chances in beating Mo in the Men's 5000 ...

It's interesting that the only talk of doping anywhere is only on LR.

Use "hola" to get Canadian internet access and watch the videos at CBC they have pretty much every track session in entirety in archive. It's way better than US coverage.
Showboating is wonderful to bring in interest to the sport. I was really upset that we missed Kemboi's dance.

I was watching a replay of the men's steeple on stream.nbcolympics.com, but it cut out with 2 laps to go... I still cannot get it to load again, but I know NBC is making the replay available online.
Pretty Sure Jager was a steepler before he ran 3:32.....

That's what happens when a 3:32 guy moves over to the steeple. He could've been a 1500 b teamer but he went for it!

Bernie's gonna nab himself a silver medal in a time of 14:11 by crushing the last 200z
Mo for gold in 14:09.
I will vomit if the 5k really does go that slow.

Amazing result.
Any accusations of doping from you losers?
Oh hold on the winner was from Africa so he's automatically a doper.
It's interesting that the only talk of doping anywhere is only on LR.
What will you all talk about for the next 4 years?
Sure the African is doped. Politically correct cucks like you would bend and spread for him even if you saw him with the spike in his arm. Let people enjoy Jager's success. Imagine if Jager competed against a field of clean athletes; GOLD.

Ran 8:04 at close to 100F. Should aim for his sub-8 later at the Diamond league.
THIS. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE SUB8.
