im going into sophomore year of college. this is my first summer doing base training and im wondering if my rate of progression will be as fast as HS kids who begin taking track seriously year round for the first time. i.e, one guy in HS progressed in the 800m: 2:06-1:55-1:52. in the mile someone went: 4:30-4:11-4:02, and another in the 3200m: 10:07-9:43-9:15. could i be dipping into the low 1:50's or running near 9-flat by senior year of college and have the same progression as some of these High schoolers?
