The on off button is in a bad spot, constantly hitting it when holding the phone. Best when you are using WiFi since there is no unlimited data if you are not near wifi. Good if you are limited user.

I love google photos on my iPhone. The automatic categorization is brilliant. Also love google drive for storage. Both are way better than iCloud. For hardware though I'll go with iPhone.

The nexus 5x on google android BLOWS them out of the water. There is no comparison.Anyone who thinks differently is a delusional fanboy.
The phone was $199, too. How much is a brand new unlocked iphone? like 800? LOL
Most Iphone users have their parents buy their phone/monthly plan for them.

Play with your Google Phone for a month. Then log into you mandatory Google account. Check the off-line history of everything you have done. Try deleting the history. Tell us what you found, and how easy it was to protect your data?
