I'll take Salzburg, Interlaken and Innsbruck.

What say you?
Your list is in no way representative of the real top 10
Oildale, California.
Genuine list coming up
This is not an attempt on naming obscure places to show how cool I am to have been there like some others in this thread (you know who you are)
Top 7:
New York City
Rome
Barcelona
Prague
Berlin
London
Stockholm
Some of those who missed out: Nairobi, Doha, Beijing, Paris, Milan, Hamburg, Moscow, St Petersburg, Kyiv, Kraków, Amsterdam, Addis Ababa, Marrakech, Dubrovnik, Athens, Glasgow
Not saying those off the list aren't good but the top 7 are a notch or two above
Sorry, "beautiful city" is an oxymoron.
Some day you may figure this out.
Next Question!
No, beautiful city is not an oxymoron.
Bergen, Norway and Edinburgh, Scotland are two places I've been to that have no downside. They're not cities with a mix or good and bad. They're in no way annoying. They're 100 percent good. Bergen is completely beautiful

Spent a weekend in Bergen 35 years ago. Been to 100s of cities since. Cities, by definition, are not beautiful. Not even San Francisco. The great majority are ugly blights.
Some day you will understand this.

Vienna
Budapest
Lausanne
Queenstown NZ
Amsterdam
I'm sure some in Scandinavia would be good too.

Do you have a problem with Houston? Its beauty is an acquired taste. The unsphosticates have a tough time appreciating it.

One who has never been to Europe or Oceania.

So you've been to Europe and China.

That was in the last 12 months. You were suggesting I might be some redneck hick.

Actually, that's my itinerary for our October vacation! But I did pick that route because they appear to be neat, scenic places.
Apart from the castle and the relatively small old town, Bratislava isn't really that great. Consider a day trip to Vienna. It's only a one hour train ride from Bratislava, and Vienna is just amazing.

It's a pretty fair generalisation for someone who thinks Houston is a more beautiful city than for example Paris, Florence, Bruges, Queenstown, Lausanne and Sydney.
