running isn't the bar for success
stupid question.

As another runner who also had a shoe company give me free shoes gear and some travel money for a few years after college but was never at True's level here's my perspective.
I worked full time while running and made good money and setup myself with a good career while managing to compete. I never had Ben's talent. If I did and had realistic shots at World or Olympic teams I would have given up the job and set my career back a few years and gone for the running dream in a heartbeat. And in my mind it would have been the 100% correct decision.
Anyone can climb the corporate ladder but almost no one can pursue the running dream at a high level. There's nothing wrong with guys putting off other things in life to pursue a running career even if they're scrapping by. It's a once in a lifetime oppurtunity while you're young and in your prime and very few will ever get that oppurtunity. Everyone has different priorities. But I'd bet most of the trolls on here talking down those pursuing running are just trying to make themselves feel better since they didn't have the same ability. And in case you didn't know True makes decent money. Ok he's probably never going to be filthy rich running but if that's your priority great for you trying to pursue it.
