Somewhat related...USA Basketball released the official team picture of the Mens Basketball team. The non-Nike athletes had their shoes very carefully hidden, just as in past years. That's how contracts work, despite what Oiselle thinks.

Sally dearest, if you don't like it you can leave the State of Washington and move to a place with a fascist, racist, military dictatorship, with no voting and no human rights -- Turkey, Russia, Israel, Afghanistan, Iran, Texas, North Korea, US Mandate of Palestine, Iraq, Cuba, etc. Bye now. Don't come back.

Ever heard of the concept of high bid? She could have bid for the same sponsorship slot that Nike got. It's a free marketplace. Oh, her little company above an old restaurant in Seattle can't afford it? Poor little flock.
Are you all the same idiot?
Oiselle has the right--not just the moral right, but the LEGAL right--to promote their own athletes as Olympians. You can't contract for a monopoly on the right to advertise true facts about athletes, such as the fact that they qualified for the Olympics while wearing your apparel and the fact that you financially supported their training.
USATF/Nike are the ones who should "move to a place with a facist dictatorship" if they want to use the government to crush their competitors instead of competing in a free market.
