As a strong introvert, I never had the same drive to be in a relationship that a lot of other people seem to have. When my friends started getting married, I was like "so you actually want to live with this other person and have her involved in every single thing you do? No thanks!"
I think this has ultimately benefited me. People end up in bad or merely acceptable relationships because they feel like they need to be with someone, so they take what they can get right now instead of waiting for the right person. Since I really don't mind being alone, I was able to be way more selective. I ended up waiting until my early 30s to get into a serious relationship with someone who really was a perfect fit for me.
I wouldn't worry too much about it right now. Maybe you'll find someone who changes your mind about not wanting to be in a relationship. When/if that happens, you'll be way better off than the kids who rushing into relationships now.
