Here's the girl's story in a nutshell.
She has severe emotional/social issues. If you read into it for 5 minutes, you'll see that pretty clearly.
She ran a marathon in Seattle. It did not have a cutoff time and it took her something like 9 hours.
She tried to run a half-ironman last year or so. She was stopped after the swim because she took too long. She claimed to have been fat-shamed the morning of and etc... She wasn't in shape - but that's another story.
She likes to post/promote herself and claim that whenever she trains, she is fat-shamed. This gets a rise out of her "support" system of followers.
She claims to be training but does not give any metrics - distances covered, speed, etc... in her blog posts about what she has been doing.
She is now training to complete a full ironman this fall. After it is over and she was stopped at the swim, expect posts about her being fat shamed the morning of. And expect some excuses as to why she was unable to complete the swim (aside from her not being in shape to complete it in the minimum time).
Yes, it's annoying while she is out there promoting herself. But based on her lack of training (this has nothing to do with her weight) - she is not going to be able to complete the Ironman and like other attention whores before her, she will fizzle.
END OF THREAD.
