You have to understand why this is significant: Regan, the cheater, is essentially the Dean Karnazes to obese people. She's been documenting her attempt at completing an Ironman for over 2 years, she's yet to finish the swim in the cutoff. But people LOVE her. I only know this because there's a dork on my facebook feed who shares her images and posts constantly. This is a huge find for the reddit guys. Kudos to them.

If I remember correctly she is truly an evil person. One of her obese followers contacted her for advice about some sort of medical condition that is caused in 95% of the cases by obesity. Follower is concerned that doctor told her that losing weight would solve medical condition when everything she reads on blog says being fat is healthy. Tri Fatty responds by telling her the doc is fat shaming her and she should demand to be treated like a thin person.
The long term effects of medical condition were blindness and possibly death. She basically commanded one of her followers to go blind and die rather than give up the charade that being fat causes no medical problems.

according to the about section on this blog she defrauds people of money. Besides attempting to spread pseudoscience that could harm larger people attempting to adapt healthy lifestyles, that is why people care.
