not a good idea??
not a good idea??
Agree, Dibaba just glows. I know that look.

I had a good chat with Crammie about the drugs business 10 years ago. You know the weirdest thing is, he doesn't really believe in drugs anyway.
He is confused and conflicted about the whole issue. But he also has to play the roles of spokesman, confidante and motivator. So he doesn't know what is the best way to express his frustration.
Jon, he doesn't believe HE needed them because he was the WR holder at the time.
He also did that with weak ankles.

There are no innocents there.
Wait. I'm innocent. I'm just training to be my best. I didn't take any EPO. They were just vitamins. Vitamins injected straight into my veins. Plus, I wasn't even at the hotel... that day. Believe me!

Cram was tested loads of times and there is no evidence of suggestion from the trajectory and progression of his career that he doped.
Radcliffe and Coe were tested too, BY UK ATHLETICS.
Of course they were dirty and there can be no question of that.
LOL.
No you are talking nonsense; there is no evidence Coe failed any test and Radcliffe's high readings have been explained by independent analysis, not UK Athletics, which was carrying out OOS and OOC tests on its athletes long before the IAAF incorporated the same policy in 1989.

It has to be the athletes who get banned, do you think Aden is going to stop coaching for 4 years just because he was "Banned"?
Busted US coaches don't stop.
Why would Aden?
Coe and Crammie doped.
Had to in order to compete with the more talented Ovett.

Actually we were discussing one of the Russian women, he knew she (they) were doping, but he showed some doubt about whether he believed in dope or not. I put two an two together and got four.
Cram should man up and call for the banning of Coe.
What Crammy said 10 years ago could be totally different than what he thinks now. The whole face of athletics has changed in this period.
No it hasn't. Running is still running. The same drugs were around then as now.
The same beliefs were around then as now.
He is more aware of the corruption than he was, I know that for a fact, it was part of our conversation. But he also was suspicious about the Russia system and he alluded to this in a BBC broadcast 10 years ago.
I would like to have another chat with him, but since I don't move in athletic circles anymore that is unlikely. Can I email him at the BBC or extramile.com?
"The same drugs were around then as now."
-100% unequivocally a false statement. Int'l athletics has lost the plot. A coach's camp caught with epo, men masquerading as women and holding back to make it look real, the head iaaf man caught in drug coverups and bribes, and entire Russian teams handing clean specimens through a drilled hole in the wall. Leaves a bit of a bad taste in a fan's mouth.
This would help the Americans.
how can this be??? wrote:

You have no idea what you are talking about. The same things were happening before as now.
